In denial and berated
Falsified and derated
Veracity unclear
Reaching towards fantasy
Reality blurred
Seeking truth in trickery

Frightened
Have I failed?
Afraid
Have I fallen?
From the fact or is it fiction?
From the reality or is it a delusion?

Perplexed and baffled
No longer able to define truth
Confused and bewildered
Unable to identify falsehoods
Will I fade?
Into the pretensions
Will I break?
By the deceptions

Help me seek definition in this undefined world of dishonesty
