You shouldn't have drawn a line
Shouldn't have gone to the other side
Because now its your fault that I cry

Haiku By Maria Yousuf
No one has powers in matters of the heart
If you have preferences
At least don't be unjust

I'd love to see you in my place
See you go through all you put me through
And see how that ends with you

Is being unaware a sin?
Or ignorance a crime?
If so...I apologize

Accusations are
Paper thin
Weightless

Haiku By Maria Yousuf
What defines the dichotomy of above and beneath?
Marks the line of differentiation of these opposites?
Running forever parallel they are separated
By the discrete boundaries you define

Beauty is infinite to the perspective that sees it
Timeless and untouched
Preserved and reborn

I'll never sink through your quicksand of charm
I maybe dreamy but I'm hard headed too
I'll never make the mistake of letting loose and falling for you

Haiku By Maria Yousuf
Don't ever make the mistake
Of slipping on assumptions
And falling for implications

The teal sea designs images from its diary
Images telling stories from its memories
Stories I've never heard or ever seen

Haiku By Maria Yousuf
I shall sew all the fallen petals together
Bind all moments together
And create a rose of your memories

Is it too much to ask ?
To be the one for one?

.:Black Cat:.

Live in the ashes of another man's hopes,
breath in another man's misery
make a living with his bloody demise,
make his chained soul an opportunity

Stab a bulls eye in his wound,
feed and devour his aches n pain
drown his piercing white cries,
survive with his loss, make it all your gain

Be the friction for his agony,
the deep set ache, his enmity
be the hollow trunk of his body,
the dried bark of a his tree

Be the black cat crossing his path,
the bad luck that befalls his way
be the barrier blocking his rise,
the reasons for his hate
