Its static screams in my ears
Alerting me of the stark surroundings
It chokes me, encloses me
A reincarnation of my ancient enemy
It alerts me of the predator around me
The emptiness of nobody
I feel the palpable darkness
Of standing alone
Silence scares me
Scares me as it screams
